Job Description
This position is responsible for managing training operations and providing business development support for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), drone-as-first responder (DFR) programs, counter-drone, and robots. 
Work Location(s)
●  Remote work from anywhere with connectivity (50%)
●  Travel to support to training or events (50%)
Job Duties
The below list of job duties is not all inclusive:
Manage UAV and Robotics Training Operations
  • Serve as the designated project manager for UAV and robotics training courses
  • Teach UAS and robotics training courses
  • Recruit and manage part-time and 1099 instructors for UAV, robotics, software, counter drone and application specific courses.
  • Manage the training schedule and instructor assignments for UAS and robotics courses  
  • Coordinate with host jurisdiction POCs to obtain training needs
  • Coordinate with training staff for required administrative and logistics
  • Manage registration for open enrollment courses and events
  • Manage post training work flows including student certifications and quality assurance (QA) surveys.  
Business Development Support
  • This position will provide technical support to the sales team, but is not responsible for sales and will not receive compensation for sales
  • Attend tradeshows to provide technical expertise to support the sales team
  • Assist the product management team evaluate UAV and robotics products and technology.
  • Manage inbound lead requests for UAV and robotics training.
  • Attend in-person and virtual meetings with customers to discuss customer’s needs, share product information, and conduct demonstrations.
  • Assist the marketing team to develop UAV and robotics marketing content such as articles, advertisements, blog posts, or podcasts.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • FAA part 107 certified as a remote pilot
  • Previous experience as a first responder or sworn law enforcement officer including assignment as a drone as first responder (DFR) pilot.
  • Previous instructor and training management experience
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines while working independently
  • Ability to use and learn technology tools including use of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexible schedule including availability for some nights and weekends
